It's Not About Perfect, It's About Effort

I want to remind every single one of you that we are all human & perfection cannot be expected of any of us. We are going to miss a workout. We are going to eat more than we should have. We are going to hit snooze & oversleep. We are going to have to pause our workouts. We are going to have too many treats or treat meals. We are human. We can not change or overhaul all the habits that most of us have had our whole life. What we can do is just try our best each & every single day. If we do that, change will happen. Sometimes it will happen slower than we like but it will happen. We are not talking about a short term diet, we are talking about creating a healthier lifestyle for life. So I want you all to promise me to keep showing up or to start showing up if you haven't already. To be proud of trying your best even if that means you are not hitting your nutrition, didn't get enough water or missed your workout. Failing, means we are trying. Do not ever be ashamed failing, as long as you don't quit. If you are struggling share that with us and know that if you are, someone else most likely is too. I don't want any of you to ever think I expect you be perfect because I am far from that. Just a mom, a wife, a coach...just trying to do the best I can. I eat ice cream when it has not been planned, have an extra slice of pizza, even had a bacon cheeseburger last night with 3 onion rings and a handful of happens. Yesterday it took me over an hour to do my workout because I sobbed the entire time knowing my brother and his family were boarding their plane to move to Dallas, Texas. This is real life...just doing the best I can & I want to always keep it real with you all! xo Katie
