I am so excited you are reading this because I hope this means you will be trying this easy healthier recipe that will win everyone over this holiday season!!! It is sweet, salty, low in sugar, gluten free, dairy free and taste so indulgent.
Ingredients:
1 package of crushed Vandy Chips (Local Jo's sells these if you live in Charleston, Erewhon also carries them or you can save a ton of money and order them online using discount code: FRESHFITKATE with this link: Â https://vandycrisps.com/FRESHFITKATE
1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil (this is optional)
2 bags of Pascha white chocolate chips (healthiest ones I could find)
2 cups of organic cashews and peanuts
Let's make them:
melt the coconut oil on the stovetop, then add in white chocolate, stir until melt, then turn the heat off and add the nuts and crushed potato chips. Stir them well and then our over a large parchment lined cookie sheet. Place in the freezer for 35 minutes and then it's ready to be broken. You can store in the freezer and pull out 30 minutes prior to serving or store in your fridge in glass containers.
I hope you enjoy this sweet holiday treat. I will say if you are not used to eating healthy foods and typically eat processed or sugary foods they will not taste as sweet to you. Those of us that eat whole foods will think these are plenty of sweet. It is crazy how much your taste buds change the healthier you eat. I hope you know exactly what I mean and if not I hope you will find out soon.
I love being able to share healthier recipes with. my family, friends and you!
