Simple Healthy Mocktail Recipe


Need a mocktail recipe for this summer season or upcoming holiday weekend 🇺🇸?

This is so simple and it’s our favorite go to:

🍸Topochico or Rainwater

🍸1 Grapefruit

Pour the sparkling unflavored water over ice then squeeze some fresh grapefruit juice into your glasses and garnish with grapefruit slices.

I am not sure what is better- the taste or the fact you’ll wake up continuing to feeling amazing 🤩

Have you ever thought about reducing your alcohol intake or cutting it out completely?

In January 2021 my doctor recommended to cut out alcohol & processed sugar for a total of 30 days to help improve the inflammation in my body, my gut and to learn how to no longer use either of those items to make me feel happier.

To my surprise I began to notice after ten days that not I began to feel more clarity, energy, less bloat and in general just feeling a lot better from within.

I also began to feel more empowered with each passing day that I wasn’t turning to sugary carbs or a cocktail to make me feel better or to relieve my stress.

Instead I was learning to replace those unhealthy options with my faith, personal development, going for a walk, journaling, music, being present with the people I was with and if I was hungry or thirsty I was choosing a healthier option like this mocktail or my vegan banana ice cream 😋 (comment below if you want that delicious recipe)

I was learning that I really didn’t need alcohol to relieve stress or to improve my mood or to have fun.

I have vacationed!

I have celebrated holidays!

I have been out on date nights with my husband & out with friends, all who have been super supportive!

And guess what????

Not once did I feel like I was deprived or that I wasn’t fun enough for others to be around or that I wasn’t enjoying myself, which is a concern for many of us when reducing our consumption or considering completely cutting this out of our lives.

So cheers to us all having choices & the ability to create healthier habits 🙌🏼
