Refined Sugar & Gluten Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bon Bons Recipe

Do you remember eating these growing up? When I thought back to having these we considered them a treat and it was rare that we would enjoy these. When I say rare I mean maybe a couple times a year at my grandmother's house. If my memory serves me right I think the movie theatre sold them as well. Growing up treats were not nightly or multiple times a day. I remember having them for special occasions and on vacation but that was it. Was it like that for you while you were growing up?
I am really excited for you to try this recipe because they are so easy to make, delicious, taste indulgent and a healthier way to enjoy these than the original ingredients. This recipe is gluten free, has no refined sugar and you only need 6 ingredients to make these.
Ingredients:
¾ cup of 100% grass fed organic greek yogurt made by Maple Hill
⅓ cup of crazy richards 100% pure peanut powder (no added sugar only ingredient is peanuts) https://amzn.to/41wkHZ6
2 tablespoons of organic peanut butter
1 tablespoon of organic maple syrup
1 cup of Just Date dark chocolate chips (only have 3 ingredients) https://amzn.to/3Dn3Gsi
1 teaspoon of Organic cold pressed coconut oil
Maldon salt to sprinkle on top is optional https://amzn.to/4btC1m2
Let's make these. You will mix the yogurt, peanut butter powder, peanut butter and maple syrup together until smooth. Then use a cookie scooper to scoop up each one and place on non bleached parchment paper on a tray. Put them in the freezer for 30 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil over the stovetop, then pour into a small dish to dip the frozen mixture in. Place back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and then savor away. I store mine in a glass container in our freezer.
I hope you love these as much as I do. After you make them please let me know what you thought of them in the comments.
Enjoy!
