4 Ingredient, Gluten Free, Delicious & Healthy Sweet Potato Fries with Dipping Sauce

Hands down these are the best sweet potato fries I have ever tasted. They are so delicious that even people that have shared with me they do not like sweet potato fries at all have become lovers of them after this recipe. Lets grab the ingredients:

  • 4 large organic sweet potatoes

  • 1/3 cu of melted organic coconut oil

  • Lillies Carolina Dirt BBQ Rub

  • Maldon Salt


Lets make the best sweet potato fries. Put the oven on to 400 degrees. Peel the potatoes. To speed the process up and make the slicing easier I microwave them for five minutes. I then cut the ends off and slice them into fries as shown in the video. I pour the melted coconut oil and make sure they are all completely coated with the oil (very important step), I then sprinkle the BBQ run on them all and then lay them on a cooking sheet pan. I did use parchment paper on my pans. After I place them on the pan if there is any left over oil and seasoning in the bowl I will pour the remainder over the fries on the pan and then I sprinkle salt on them. I place them in the oven for 20-22 minutes (if you do not want to microwave them prior to slicing they will need about 30-32 minutes to bake) and then I turn the oven from bake to the crisper function for two minutes and out of the oven they come.


While the sweet potato fries are baking and I making the dipping sauce. You do not need to make this but warning once you do your family may always ask for it.


Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/2 container or 8 ounces of Organic sour cream

  • Drizzle of organic honey or hot honey if you like it spicy

  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of Lillies Carolina Dirt BBQ rub

Mix them all together and it's ready to be served with the fries.
