A Tip That Helps Me Find Calmness In The Midst Of This Chaos
To all the mommas who are feeling anxious, stressed, a heaviness in your chest & like there is so much on your mind you feel like you can’t even think straight.
I want to share one of the things that I have been implementing over the last 6 weeks that’s been helping me not feel these things:
I get into my car (because lord knows I can’t find a quiet space in our home lately).
I close my eyes.
I quiet my mind by silencing all my thoughts.
I focus on the deep breathes in & the deep breathes out.
I start to stream a meditation session that is filling my head with all the affirmations it needs to hear in my car.
5-7 minutes later I feel lighter, less stressed, no longer a heaviness, more peaceful & ready to go back into my home so I can be the momma, wife, coach, mentor, friend that those around me need to be.
There are many things I need to keep consistent in my life so I can keep thriving such as working out, listening to personal development books & fueling this body with nutrition that allows me to feel my best. I wish I could put into words how grateful I am that these all happen to be my daily job requirements.
6 years ago before I began this journey to a healthier happier me this current season of life we’re all in wouldn’t look like it does for me today. I was not in a good place mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually.
I want you to know there are options.
I want you to know things don’t have to stay the way they are.
I want you to have hope.
I want you to truly believe that your life can be completely different.
And that’s why I show up because if someone didn’t have the courage to show up & share their own journey, I wouldn’t be where I am today!
You get to chose where you put your time & effort into every single day.
My hope is this encourages you to start creating new habits that don’t just allow you to survive this season we’re in but launch you into a new thriving season of life!
