10 Whole Foods Items That Are Good For Your Gut


Today is day one of my gut healing journey with my clients and I wanted to share with you some items that I can have over the next four weeks in hopes it helps you find some better options that can help your gut health too!


  1. Ready to eat beets! Beets are high in fiber and promote the growth of good bacteria in your gut

  2. Roots mango sriracha hummus. Also high in fiber that promotes digestive health.

  3. Kraut naturally contains healthy gut bacteria called probiotics

  4. 100% Artisan Foods Salsa is gluten free and has been food to be anti inflammatory

  5. Hempeh has antioxidants, amino acids, fiber and cleansing qualities it can provide your body. Just make sure there’s no added sugar.

  6. Ancient Awakenings Kefir plain coconut. Loaded with good bacteria and fiber which is good when you want a healthy gut. Love mixing some organic peanut butter and fresh berries on top as a snack.

  7. Coconut amino is a healthy replacement for soy sauce. You can flavor your foods with this.

  8. Siete tortillas are gluten free, dairy free, soy free and are a great alternative is you want a wrap that won’t harm your gut like most will.

  9. Base Culture is a good bread option when wanting to stay away from preservatives, gluten and dairy as you heal your gut.

  10. Sweet Potato slices. Only ingredient is sweet potatoes! This is a great healthy swap fro bread! Fiber and vitamins are provided with this good choice as well!
