Gluten & Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Where are all my homemade chocolate chip cookie lovers at looking to satisfy their sweet tooth in a healthier way?? I can not wait for you to make these!
All need are 7 ingredients to make this gluten + dairy free recipe:
12 organic dates pitted
1 cup of raw walnuts
1 organic pasture-raised egg
1/8 of a teaspoon of a healthy salt
1/4 baking soda
1 teaspoon of organic vanilla
1/2 cup of gluten + dairy free dark chocolate chips.
Let’s make them together. Turn the oven on to 350. Place the pitted dates in a food processor along with the raw walnuts until it forms a paste like substance. Add the mixture to a bowl with all the other ingredients (chocolate chips fold in last) and stir well. Use a cookie spoon and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. This recipe makes one dozen. Now bake for 9 minutes. Let them cool for at least 20 minutes and then it’s time to savor away. Store in your fridge for a week, they will be eaten way before then trust me.
I’ve always been a HUGE lover of baked goods especially homemade chocolate chip cookies but unfortunately the way I used to make them was so unhealthy, especially with all the refined sugars and crisco I used to add always led me to over indulge and then ultimately not feel so good. This recipe allows me to savor a healthy version of something I really enjoy while continuing to feel good afterwards and my hope is it helps you do the same 😘
