Let This Be The Summer You Discovered Self Love

Once a woman who cringed being in a bathing suit in front of her own family and friends to a woman posting pictures on social media in her bathing suit...the old me from five years ago would’ve NEVER imagined having the courage to do this.
I couldn’t bare to look at myself.
I tried to delete every picture I could find of myself.
I never looked in the mirror and saw anything I loved or even liked. All I could see was all that disgusted me.
I was so incredibly uncomfortable in my own skin.
I was wasting so much money on every quick fix I could get my hands on.
I could not accept a compliment from my husband and remember thinking how in the world could he be attracted to me.
So how in the world do you go from point A to point Z???
It took learning how to change my mindset.
Silencing my inner mean girl.
Showing my body respect by fueling it properly, getting my sweat on & filling up my head with the things it deserved to hear.
I want to tell you it’s so easy to change because that’s what most of us want (I know I did) but it’s not. It’s hard, like really hard. It takes a whole lot of stumbling, dusting yourself off andtrying harder the next day, then the day after that and the day after that. It takes patience, grace and consistency. It takes investing money and time into your well being.
But here’s the deal, the game changer of it all: I decided I was worth it, that I did deserve to know how good I was really designed to feel & that this body deserved more love than what I was giving it most of its life.
This journey isn’t about earning society’s version of a perfect body. It’s all about learning how to show yourself love and respect to your mind, body and soul. Then slowly but surely after applying all the tools you need to make this internal transformation happen, it clicks and you end up wanting to fight harder everyday because you realize you never want to go back to where you came from.
Sharing these pictures. Being vulnerable. It’s all worth it to me if I can get one more woman to see she is so deserving of loving the skin she is in, capable of living life like this too & her well being is so worth fighting for.
In case you need the reminder, you are so worth it babe! I want to invite you to join me this summer. Not to start another diet, not to feel deprived, not to waste your money on another fad, but to learn how to treat your mind, body and soul the way it deserves to be treated. I want this to be the summer you discovered what slef love really means! Are you interested?
