UPF Lifestyle Accountability Group

Hey friends, thanks so much for visiting my blog and for checking out this article on the Ultimate Portion Fix.  I personally have a passion for all things clean eating, nutrition, and creating a healthy lifestyle from the inside out.  I do not believe in quick fixes but in creating new habits that allow you to eat healthy but still enjoy some of the things you love most.  In my case that is chips, guac, margaritas and ice cream.  I have learned through this process how to create a healthier relationship with food! I went from using food to help me happier in unhealthy ways to learning how to use food to help me feel happier in healthy ways.  Instead of using a big ole bowl of ice cream to melt the stress away, I learned healthier ways to get through my emotions with out relying on the unhealthy food or alcohol to do that for me.  If you were to tell me I cannot have something I would definitely be a little resentful and would want it more. Knowing I can eat what I want but choosing to fuel it properly really helped get my mindset in a much healthier relationship with food.

 

 

Over the past 5 years I have been on my own personal health and fitness journey.  It wasnt pretty at first.  I started off in November of 2013 and then quit in Janaury 2014 because I thought this is just too hard.  I went back to my own ways and found myself that february vacation in 2014 feeling my absolute worse physically, emotionally and mentally.  I vowed after that vacation I was going to change my life.  On March 3rd 2015 instead of making a wish that birthday I made a promise to myself.  I promised I was going to do whatever it took to create a healthier mind, body & soul.  I was going to give this body grace, learn to be more patient with it and I vowed to never give up on my well being again.  I was done living life feeling this way and was desperate to know what it would feel like to actually love the skin I was in. 

 

So I began working with an Accountability coach and participating in her accountability group.  Here I was introduced to workouts from home, clean eating and a part of a community that I was so grateful to have in my life. Slowly but surely I began to watch the weight and inches come off, but it wasn't until the portion fix came out with 21 day fix and 21 day ix workouts did I watch my body shed weight, inches and get toned in such a short period of time.  It was exactly what my journey needed. This was me after 21 days with the 21 day fix, followed by 21 days with the 21 day fix.  I was finally not feeling so hopeless and I was thrilled because my doctors said I could finally start getting off all the medications I had been on for depression and anxiety.  This was huge for me!  I was finally understanding the role of nutrition and how it was truly impacting my well being.  

 

I began to feel such passion for the principals Autumn Calabrese was sharing from her nutrition program.  It was teaching me what to fuel my body with and why.  It taught me what I was giving my body too much of and not enough of. I started to feel hopeful about how to actually create a healthier lifestyle for life, not feeling deprived, no longer feeling lost and feeling more in control than I ever havewhen it came to my nutrition. 

 

I know the power of education. The 21 day fix program really just scratched the surface.  The program’s nutritional guide didn’t go into deep detail about WHY you eat this way.  It wasn’t until Autumn created Ultimate Portion Fix that all the dots came together.  We are not just giving you these color coded containers and telling you to figure it out or trust us!  We are giving you the science and the WHY behind why you eat this way.  When you know WHY you are doing something, you are much more likely to stick with it.

What is going to be so special about my UPF Lifestyle Accountability Group?

As I coach I get to host monthly accountability groups in an app that my clients get access to when they join me, which is basically a safe space for my clients to talk about their daily challenges and cheer each other on. It’s an online support group and I provide motivation and tips from my own personal toolbox that have helped me to create a sustainable lifestyle for myself and others. It is honestly one of my favorite parts about coaching because I love being able to help you crush your health and fitness goals and give you an environment where you feel comfortable and can also make new friends.

In my UPF Lifestyle Group, I am also going to help you with:

  • meal planning

  • understanding portion sizes

  • cutting out processed foods

  • dealing with your sugar addictions

  • how to stay on track when you are traveling or busy

  • getting your whole family on board with clean eating

  • and more!

The group will start prep on March 25th and then we start the new 21 Day Fix live workouts with Autumn on April 1st, followed by her live new 21 Day Fix Extreme workouts.

In order to participate in my UPF group, I must be your coach and you must purchase a UPF package. You will also need to be drinking either Shakeology or the Performance Line daily!

 

When Can I Purchase UPF?
