One Inspiring Transformation

Please help me celebrate my friend and client Carla Beaver Scheiber for this Transformation Tuesday. Get ready to be inspired by her journey.

 

 

"Where do I begin.....

 

Anyone who knows me well, knows that my whole adult life (after kids) I have struggled with weight... UP and down, up and down. As I scroll through photo albums there are periods where you don't see me in any of the pics for 2 years. My weight honestly didn't hold me back from plugging into my life and I wasn't depressed.... However, I was ashamed and didn't even fully face it myself. I would even be careful at how I looked at my image through the mirror. There were a couple moments that started me on this journey, seeing a candid that my mother in law took of me (yes it was a bad angle....but holy moly there was some truth in that pic), realizing that I hadn't taken a pic with my husband in almost 2 years, not being able to wear my wedding ring, and getting mad when people would snap a pic of me. I started to realize how uncomfortable I was in my skin. Jeans were not comfortable, pants were not comfortable, I slowly started getting more and more stretchy clothes. Until finally (after watching your story for almost 2 years) decided I was plugging in. I bought myself 21 day fix for my 39 th birthday, completed that program, then T25, and Hammer and Chisel. I set some goals, knowing that my daughter's junior year would be special and I would want to feel comfortable to take a picture at prom with her, like the other moms. So slowly but surely started the groups. I saw progress, but in the beginning it seemed super slow. I couldn't wait to have the results I wanted even messaging..... Are these result normal? I am still not 100% at goal but the progress and change that I have had has been life changing.

 

 

In the last 10 months......

 

✔️ Lost >50 lbs
✔️ 8 inches from my waist
✔️ Improvement in blood pressure and cholesterol
✔️ Decreased my thyroid medicine by almost 75%
✔️ Never feel hungry (attribute to shakeology and eating nutrient dense foods)
✔️ Never miss a work out b/c the class was cancelled or instructor was sick (since I stream from home)
✔️ Have worked out in multiple hotel rooms over the last year
✔️ Literally have become a morning person
✔️ Wearing my wedding ring again
✔️ Jumped into pics again with my kids, husband, friends, Proudly at prom, cheer competitions, even in a bathing suit on a cruise
✔️ Wore a 2 piece for the first time since high school
✔️ Went from squeezing into size 14s down to size 6-8
✔️ Could only do 1-2 push ups on my toes, Now 26
✔️ Started with 3-5 lb weights, now using 10-20 lbs for my work outs
✔️ Working out 6-7 days a week- and like it
✔️ Never drank water, only diet pepsi- literally probably 6 per day (I know crazy) to 1 per day, and now I drink water like crazy
✔️ Used to drink DD 3-4 times per week, now 1-2 times per month
✔️ Previously happy but uncomfortable, now happy and comfortable!!!!

 

Maybe TMI- Stress urinary incontinence completely resolved (My sister and husband literally made me pee my pants every time we were together. Now I can laugh at all their jokes with a bladder of steel. Prior to this started to think I had IBS- let's just say no more issues.... lol. I have found a program that finally works for me and I can stick with because it has all of the elements, nutrition, accountability, support, exercise, and friendship. Other programs that I have done had only pieces of this." - Carla
