I can vividly remember the feeling of trying on a zillion different outfits before settling on one that didn't squeeze my muffin top, hid my back fat & my arms. There were many times I didn't want to go anywhere because I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin & every summer when I would pull the summer bin out, I would cry on my closet floor (TRUE STORY!!)
One day after going away on a family vacation with my family, I said enough is enough! I spent my vacation feeling uncomfortable & ashamed to be in a bathing suit. The way I felt about myself prevented me from playing around with my children & truly enjoying our time together, it made me feel sick inside as a mother that my weight & poor self worth was preventing me from creating important memories.
