How To Stay On Track While On Vacation

How my suitcase has evolved over the years. Never would I ever have imagined packing these items for a vacation.

Here's the deal, I have two choices for this upcoming vacation.

A.) wing it, eat whatever I want, eat as much as I want, go crazy because it's vacation & throw all my hard work out the window.

Or

B.) have a plan in place, snacks for a pinch, good fuel everyday, enjoy myself in moderation & still chose to nourish my body properly.

Plan A is going to leave me feeling sluggish, bloated, not feeling great in my own skin, headaches will return & it's going to make for a very unpleasant vacation detox as I try to get back on track & break the sugar addiction. (Been there before and it's not worth it)

Plan B is going to still allow me to splurge on vacation treats (I won't feel deprived), I will be full of energy to keep up with my kids, when I fuel my body properly I feel better in my own skin (which helps when your in a bathing suit 90% of your vacation) I will feel great physically/mentally & I when I return home I won't feel like crap.

Plan A was my choice for many years & nothing ever good came from that plan. Plan B gives me the best of both worlds.

What's being packed for plan B to help me?

  • Workout clothes & sneakers (never use to pack those)

  • Bars in case I can't find a healthier option while traveling

  • Energize to help with those early morning workouts

  • Hydrate to help me stay hydrated during my workouts

  • Shakeology to provide me probiotics, probiotics, vitamins & nutrients which are KEY to staying healthy while traveling. Plus it's refreshing. This will either be a snack or replace a meal for me daily.

  • 3 Day Refresh to start as I travel back home

  • Downloaded Beachbody on demand to my phone so I can stream my workouts

So many people are telling me they want to join me on this journey but they can't because they are going on vacation. Isn't that when you will have the most time to make a workout happen & you can come up with a plan so you don't come back in a poorer place health wise than before you left???

Everyone has these choices available to them. It took me a while to realize I had a choice. When you truly want to change more than you want to stay the same, you will chose plan B every time!
