Meal Planning With The 21 Day Fix

Planning out my meals for the week is key to staying on track & keeping up with this healthier lifestyle I have created.

Taking the time to plan has taken the stress out of dinner. We are busy & short on time. Some nights we are so short on time that having a plan in place is the only way that will help me be able to stay on track.

There is no take out or fast food in this house, but there used to be. In order to make that happen I have to look at our schedule for the family. This way I know which nights need to be a crock pot or instant pot meal or if I have enough time to cook something the night of. It makes family dinner less stressful when your limited on time & more enjoyable.

I sit down with my blank meal plan, I go through my blog, recipe books, Pinterest, and my newest tool that I love is the Fixate cooking show. This show is helpful. The episodes are under 7 minutes. Everything from dinner to appetizers to cocktails. It's a great tool for planning but also for entertaining. It's available to all my clients, which helps them with their planning process as well.

If you are working out on a regular basis and not achieving any results it's because your nutrition is off. You have to fuel your body properly or you are going to be working very hard for nothing.

Sharing tips, example meal plans, & recipes with my clients help them prepare for success as well.

Up above is a very simple meal plan for the 1200-1499 calorie bracket when following the 21 day fix. When I want to lose weight this is what I would follow & will allow me: 3 greens, 2 purples, 4 reds, 2 yellows, 1 blue, 1 orange, 2 tsp.

When I am maintaining my weight this is what I can eat following the 21 day fix nutrition plan:

6 greens, 4 purples, 6 reds, 4 yellows, 1 blue, 1 orange 6 tsp.

If you love your current workout regime but need help with the nutrition part & accountability did you know you can still join one of my accountability groups? I have cross fit clients, clients that take yoga or that enjoy hitting up the gym but need the support with nutrition & accountability. If you are in this position reach out to me. I would love to have you join us & be a part of your journey!
