No One Including You Or Lady Gaga Deserves To Be Body Shamed
The body shaming makes me feel sick to my stomach & it's not okay whether you're a celebrity or not to body shame anyone. I know first hand how bad this hurts, especially when I first started my journey. Over the last couple years I have heard "no one wants to see you jiggle", "work harder you fat pig", "you are still fat", " try starving yourself" & the list goes on. Yes those things hurt, but honestly the comments don't do anything to me anymore...So listen up!

You don't have to have a six pack
You don't have to be a certain size
You don't have to weigh a certain number
You don't need to look like anyone but you
You don't have to be skinny or skinnier to be pretty
You do need to be healthy
You do deserve to feel comfortable in your own skin
You do need to appreciate all your body does
You do need to be kinder to yourself
You do need to accept compliments instead of responding with an excuse or any negativity about yourself. Just say THANK YOU!
You do need to know what it feels like to be proud of all your body can do
You do deserve to know what it feels like to rock any outfit you chose
You do need to know it's okay to love yourself & to be good to yourself
If you are working hard at trying to take care of your body, then don't you ever be ashamed of what you see in that mirror. You just keep doing the best you can.
I carried shame around for far too long. I know how terrible it feels not to like the skin you are in. No one was ever harder on me, than myself. Before you decide to shame anyone publicly or behind someone's back, take a good look at yourself. You may not need to change anything on the outside, but I am certain you have a lot of work to do on the inside.
What you say to others & about others is truly a reflection of you & the person you are. There is no shame in my game. Just over here trying to be the best version of me & helping others do the same. I am proud of my imperfectly hard working body & if you are trying your best to live a healthier life, than I want you to know you should be too.
