I Stopped Dead In My Tracks

I stopped Dead In My Tracks...as I came across this workout tank. Maybe I was just a bit more emotional this day, but for whatever reason I saw this quote & so many thoughts & feelings rushed through me. So I decided that the seven tanks on the rack needed to be purchased & not for myself, but for whoever was willing to take a leap of faith with me on a journey to a healthier & happier life in 2016.

Why was this simple quote so powerful? Because it truly wasn't until I started to believe in myself, that my life drastically changed. I spent many years believing & feeling that I didn't matter. Many years were spent not feeling comfortable in my own skin. I spent too much time thinking I was never going to know what it felt like to be proud of myself personally & professionally. Being an anxious person, suffering from a deep depression, being surrounded by a lot of negativity & no self worth led me to my rock bottom.

Here is what I know now, I let this happen to me. I chose to listen to others & let them determine my worth. I chose not to make changes & let my life spiral out of control. I have no one to blame, but myself.

So as I searched for the next quick fix at my rock bottom, because some how I thought being a size 6 would make all these feelings go away, I started a journey that would forever change my life mentally, spiritually & physically...all from a company called "Beachbody".

This journey taught me that it wasn't just about that number on the scale or the number in my jeans. It taught me why it was important to be proud of who I was. Be proud of every non scale victory I achieved. Be proud for trying my best every single day to get healthier. It taught me about how food really affected so many aspects of my life, including my mood & energy level. Something I never had before When I belonged to a gym was a coach & group of others going through the same struggles cheering me on daily & holding me accountable. I started to see my life change & I started to feel something I had never really felt before...pride.

I decided to become a health & fitness coach because I could not believe how life changing this had been & I want others to know what it feels like to feel this good in their own skin from the inside-out.

I am not who I use to be. I went from never being in a picture to posting selfies everyday & if you would have told me that two years ago, I would have bet my life that I would never do or be able to do something like this. I went from caring about what everyone else thought about me, to barely caring at all...pretty MIND BLOWING! I am choosing to put myself out there every single day on Social media, because I want to help inspire others.

I can show you all my before & after pictures, talk about the 42 pounds and 37 inches lost, but the biggest transformation happened on the inside.

If you are ready to believe in your self, ready to change your life, then take this leap of faith with me this January!
