I Want To Help Others Feel As Good As I Do

I need to talk about the women in both these pictures. I came across this picture & couldn't help but get choked up. A huge river of emotions came over me when I stared at this picture. I was unhealthy (borderline obese), sad, uncomfortable, binge ate on anything sugary or carb related, on a lot of medication for depression & anxiety. I NEVER wanted to go anywhere, exercised in spurts (walking), always trying the next quick fix (wanted the weight to disappear immediately). I never shopped for clothing unless nothing fit or I had a family occasion I had to dress up for. I was negative, very insecure. I could never take a compliment. I was the unhappiest I ever was in my life. This picture made me feel so emotional this morning because that look on my face was a clear reminder of how terrible I felt at the time. I was at Disney with my family, the last place I ever wanted to feel this way at. I wanted to be happy & just soaking up all the fun moments with my children. I didn't want to feel this way...it was horrible. The way I was feeling about myself was weighing heavily on me all the time.
Now let's talk about the women on the right. This is me now! I feel happier! I am comfortable in my own skin. When my husband gives me a compliment I say "thank You"! I love to go shopping now! I am so much healthier! I go running, biking, play kickball, & nothing stops me from having fun with my children. I can go shopping with my daughter & we both can have fun trying things on. I feel confident, no longer ashamed. I love to work out because it has helped me not only become physically stronger, but mentally stronger as well. I am no longer on 3 medications, just the smallest dose of one. I do not think I have ever felt this good my whole life.
These past 19 months have been life changing. I decided to become a coach, because I want to help others feel as good as I do.
I know many of you are not going to commit to anything because of the upcoming holidays. But this is a lifestyle, not a diet. You can still enjoy the holidays. What a better gift to give yourself and your family- a happier & healthier you! This was hands down the best investment I ever made & my husband will whole heartily agree.
