I was attracted to my coach because I saw her before and after pictures, I saw how hard she had to work to earn her body back, and I could relate to her daily struggles as a mom and a wife. When chatting with her on the phone, she told me this wasn't going to happen overnight and I needed to make this a lifestyle. At the point I had reached and after trying everything and never having much of a result or lasting results-I WAS READY!
Although I am not at my goal and to be honest there is no number or size I have in my head, I just know when I am completely comfortable in my own skin I will be there and I am getting closer to that goal. I have never been able to stick to anything like this, this long. It has been over a year and believe me when I started- I dreaded my workouts, I wanted to quit, I didn't feel that great from all the sugar and carb withdrawals my body was use too, I was so tired and felt weak when working out,I wanted to quit, heck I did quit, but last March I decided this was it and I knew I had to change. I could not bare looking in the mirror, I hated shopping because I just felt defeated and disgusted with myself every time I tried something on, I avoided social situations and I knew things had to change.
I have so many friends and family members that are so loving and supportive and have said you looked great before-you didn't need to do this. The thing was, I didn't feel great at all, I was feeling pretty horrible everyday and didn't want to feel this way ever again. I wanted to feel alive, healthy, have energy to keep up with my kids and I want to just feel comfortable in my own skin. I wanted to learn how not to feed every emotion I had. I tended to celebrate everything with food. That needed to stop. It's my workouts that make my stress melt away and leave me feeling amazing. Instead of the ice cream that tasted so good, but left me feeling terrible.
