If Diets Don't Last, Your Results Won't Either

January 1st is right around the corner. It's the day when millions of Americans will start a diet and spend billions of dollars. Some will go strong for months and others will fall off the wagon within weeks. Why is this? Diets are short term, no one wants to be on a diet for the rest of their life. Diets are unrealistic and mostly filling your body up with chemically laden foods. So before you decide to do something you have already tried and didn't last, try something that works. It has to be something you can stick to for the rest of your life. Why? It's simple, if you want results to last- then you have to always keep doing what gets you those results for the rest of your life. This is why I have chosen the path I am on. I have tried all those diets and my results never lasted and sometimes I ended up putting more weight back on then when I started. I was starving, I felt deprived and to be honest I was miserable. I can stick to eating clean with the 80/20 rule. 80% I am eating clean and 20% I am indulging(not binging). I can still eat birthday cake, a slice of pizza or have a cocktail. I do not feel deprived and never feel that I am starving-who wants to feel that way? I am filling my body up with nutritious foods. I have also incorporated Shakeology. Something I was super skeptical about. Shakeology offers you 30 days to try it and if your not happy with it, then return it and get your money back. I decided I had nothing to lose. I decided that because I skipped lunch a lot, drinking it then would be ideal. I also workout right before lunch, so its perfect time to refuel my body. Shakeology has definitely helped with my sweet tooth. I drink chocolate, it is loaded with so many vitamins and nutrients I no longer take a multivitamin. It satisfies me, keeps me full and I no longer crave sugary foods. I actually crave my Shakeology and after a workout when I am exhausted, it picks me back up. 9 solid months of doing what I am doing and I have not gained one pound back. This has never happened before with anything else I have ever done. My doctor has encouraged me the entire time, telling me this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself.
